Fawnda and Anthropologie

There is an amazing chick named Fawnda. I adore her. She loves Anthropologie shirts and creates them herself.

So I'm sitting in my room starring at a pile of clothes that I don't want anymore. I thought to myself "What would Fawnda do?"

This is what Fawnda would do....

Shoe Makeover

Going through my summer clothes and finding things I don't wear anymore, I found these two pairs of shoes that I've had for around 10 years. So I tried to come up with something that would decorate them and still be fun.
I'm content with my first "project" that I thought up by myself.

Dresses for MZ

MZ is my 2 year old that loves ALL things girly.

When I found a tutorial for a 15-minute homemade dress, I couldn't help myself.

I bought these bandanas and had the ribbon already
Price: $2 for 2 bandanas
Time: 20 minutes- I'm still new with the sewing machine

I bought this ribbon at Hobby Lobby and this is material that is leftover from MZ's pillowcase I made in November.
Price: $2 for ribbon
Time: 30 minutes - its harder when the edges aren't already sewn like on a bandana

Price: $4 for the ribbon and bandanas (already had other materials for hairbow
Time: 15 minutes

(please excuse the hubby's mess in the background - one day I'm sure he'll get to sorting all those papers)

FINALLY finished

I stole my curtain idea from Kassie's house. Her mom is a seamstress and made these FAB curtains for her. What was I thinking? What made me think I could sew something and it look like it came from Janelle? Silly me. I know they're not technically perfect but they're perfect for me.

a close up of the pattern - I LOVE it

Material and supplies - $60
My precious time - $1,356,743,245.00
Seeing those curtains and knowing that I made them 100% by myself - priceless
